Measurement of selected components in flue gas

This bachelor thesis focuses on measurement of chosen components in flue gas, which originates during waste incineration. The thesis states ordered maximum limits and Czech as well as European legislation which controls and adjusts operation of waste incineration plants. This thesis is divided into two parts, first deals with legislation, chosen components generally, limits, analysers and used methods. The second part is devoted to experimental measurement using different types of analysers, description of measuring procedure and evaluation of results.

Diploma thesis "Analysis of selected parameters affecting the emissions of internal combustion engine" is primarily deals with the emission resulting from the combustion of fuels in internal combustion engines. The thesis describes the composition of emissions, measuring, measurement metodology and the achal effects of engine design on the amount of emissions produced. The diploma thesis also includes selected emission standards. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the measured data and search attributes affecting the amount of CO2 emissions produced and the ability to predict the technical condition of the engine based on the emissions produced.

This diploma thesis is focused on emissions and emissions measurements of petrol engines. At the beginning the way of emissions genesis and composition in the combustion space were explained. The following part explains the ways of measuring emissions for the petrol engine, both in Europe and in the United States. Finally legislative and homologation claims for gasoline engine, including an analysis of measured data on a roller dynamometer were described. An experiment based on measuring of power and emissions of Skoda Octavia was carried out on chassis dynamometer. The results were compared with legislative emissions requirements.

Porovnání koncentrace emisí tuhých znečišťujících látek z rozdílných technologií velkochovu drůbeže

Topic of this thesis is comparsion of emission concetration of solid pollutants in intensive poultry farming with different technologies. Measurement was done in cage system and two alternative poultry housing systems in company International poultry testing based in Ústrašice. For measurement of dust particles was used measurement device DUSTTRAK II 8530, own measurement has been done continuously for 24 hours with record every 3s. Dustiness was tracked in size fraction PM10. This dust particles can negatively influence health of employees and reared poultry. By measuring and following evaluation was found, that lowest value of dust particles was achieved in cage housing system. Considering health protection of employees and requirements for poultry wellfare is necessary keep dustiness of stable enviroment on lowest level.

The aim of the thesis is to get acquainted with the most frequently occurring negative externalities in road transport with proposal of their measures for mitigation of undesirable risks affecting people, the environment and property.

Emise tuhých znečišťujících látek v chovech drůbeže

This bachelor thesis is focused to monitoring concentrations of the dust particles in the object of laying hens meat-type. Measurement took place in company international poultry testing based in Ustrasice. In this object was monitored fraction of particulate matter size PM10 . These particles can have a negative impact on worker's health and on breeding poultry. Own measurement was done by DUSTTRAK II 8530 Measurement was carried out continuously in a period of 24 hours with a recording interval every three seconds. After analyzing monitored values it was found that the values of dust particles from the housing meat-type hens were not in the hall in Ustrasice exceeded. It is desirable levels of dust particles to the maximum extent possible to eliminate.

Emission measurement and analysis of air pollution stationary sources

This bachelor thesis deals with measuring of stacionary sources. In the nineties years of twenty century in Czech republic there was the highest amount of emission of major pollutants. Thanks to the new law and standards the actual level of emission was reduced. By inherent measuring stationary source, which burns natural gas in Kouřim, was found, that amount of emissions do not exceed permitted limits. Furthermore were this measurements compared with a source, which burns light fuel oil.
